Randy Bednar Sr has 35 years of High School Varsity baseball experience with 25 of those years at Landon School in Bethesda, MD. He has coached numerous players who have gone on to have highly successful seasons collegiately and professionally. I personally have known Randy Sr for over a decade and he is one of the most genuine and well respected baseball men in the state. Randy Bednar Jr played locally at Landon School winning IAC Player of the Year. He was a 2x MLB draft pick selected both out of HS and college. Randy Jr played collegiately at the University of Maryland where he was an All Big 10 selection. He has 3 years of professional playing experience in the Seattle Mariners organization. Together, they will bring their experiences (both the good and the bad) from youth training, through high school, and into professional baseball. This will be a valuable seminar for players as it comes to dealing with failure, handling adversity, positive/negative self talk, and working through the difficult nature of playing competitive baseball.
